Diocese of St. Augustine Women’s Conference – Open to Women of all Faiths

Jacksonville, Fla. – The Diocesan Women’s Conference sponsored by the Diocese of St. Augustine, is slated for Saturday, August 10, at The Wyndham Jacksonville Riverfront Hotel.

Courage to Love is the theme of the biennial daylong conference headlined with dynamic speakers including author, and syndicated Catholic talk show host Teresa Tomeo; Katrina J. Zeno, coordinator of the John Paul II Resource Center for Theology of the Body and Culture for the Diocese of Phoenix; Greg and Julie Alexander, co-founders of The Alexander House Apostolate, a Catholic lay apostolate based in San Antonio; and Catholic Pop/Jazz recording artist Colleen Nixon.

“The conference is designed to give women the opportunity to take time to listen, pray and be renewed in the Holy Spirit,” said Bethany Kline, one of the conference organizers. “It’s a day to encourage and support women in their continued faith journey.”

Women of all ages and faiths are encouraged to attend this one-day opportunity for refreshing their faith, rejuvenation and bonding. 

Check-in and registration begins at 7 a.m., followed by Mass with Bishop Felipe J. Estévez of the Diocese of St. Augustine at 8 a.m. Tickets are $55 at the door and includes lunch and all the sessions.
