Men – Take Your Faith to the Next Level Catholic Men’s Conference Provides Answers to World’s Ills

Jacksonville, Fla. – Anxiety, depression, oppression and addiction. All of these are signs of a secular world that is ill and in need of healing.

Our interior lives often seem to be in chaos, unhinged from an ideal of inner peace that seems unreachable. Outside of ourselves, we don’t have to look far to see more unrest: A staggering divorce rate, a pornography epidemic and many children growing up fatherless. Where do we turn?

On a spiritual and pragmatic level, the 2016 Catholic Men’s Conference in Jacksonville, thinks it has the answer: Turn to Jesus.

“Many people today are in pain based on relationships gone bad. To compensate and attempt to make all the pain go away, many of them choose to medicate, using prescription and illegal drugs or pornography,” comments Brother Innocent Montgomery of Icons TV and a conference speaker.

His twin brother, Franciscan Brother Angelus Montgomery, also a conference speaker, suggests a better way to personal healing, growth and renewal.

“Our personal relationship with our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, provides fathers, love, mercy and renewal that we have all dreamed of,” Brother Angelus said. And if that message were not enough, the 2016 Catholic Men’s Conference will offer practical suggestions about how to develop and deepen your relationship with God.

Acclaimed Catholic Answers apologist and evangelist, Hector Molina, says conference attendees will be uplifted from this year’s gathering. “Not only will you leave the conference renewed and re-energized in Christ, but you will have the confidence to share the good news of Jesus Christ at home, at work and in your community.”

The Catholic Men’s Conference is Saturday, August 6, at St. Joseph Catholic Church; 11757 Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville. Bishop Felipe Estévez will be the principal celebrant at Mass that begins at 8 a.m. followed by the conference, which concludes by 3 p.m.
