Fourth Annual Ecumenical Vespers Hosted by St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church
January 11, 2017 • Diocese of St. Augustine

Jacksonville, Fla. – The spiritual leaders of faith communities in Northeast Florida will gather together for the Fourth Annual Ecumenical Vespers on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church, 3850 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville. The service begins at 5:30 p.m.

The first Ecumenical Vespers in Northeast Florida was hosted by the Catholic Diocese of St. Augustine in 2014; the second by the Episcopalians; and the third by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America. This year, thanks to Bishop Dimitrios Couchell and Father Nicholas Louh, the community will pray together for unity at St. John the Divine Greek Orthodox Church.

Vespers is open to everyone. The gathering of our faith leaders and the public is an inspiring sign of solidarity. After the celebration of Vespers, there will be a reception for all those in attendance.
