St. Augustine, Fla. – The community is invited to commemorate All Souls Day with Mass celebrated by Bishop Felipe Estévez of the Diocese of St. Augustine on Thursday, Nov. 2, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Mass will be held at San Lorenzo Catholic Cemetery, 1635 U.S. 1 South in St. Augustine.

All Souls Day is a holy day set aside for honoring the dead. Catholics believe that through the prayers of the faithful on Earth, the dead are cleansed of their sins so they may enter into heaven. Many Christians visit cemeteries on All Souls Day where their loved ones are buried.
